Why invest in a Garden Design Plan?

A Garden Design Plan puts the blueprint for your dream garden in your hands.

With a Design Plan in hand you are able to:

  • Implement your garden yourself.

  • Avoid making costly mistakes due to limited plant knowledge.

  • Implement in Phases according to your available budget.

  • Implement the project in full.

  • You can choose to work with us in person either ONSITE or ONLINE.

What is our Design Process?

ONSITE service

Onsite service involves meeting with you on site and using email/Zoom for the approval process and other communication.

Our 5 Step Design Process:

Step 1:

We meet with you to discuss your vision and wish list, specific needs, likes and dislikes, garden styles, architectural style and we discuss initial ideas and concepts for the garden. This is also Phase 1 of our Service Process: The Garden Consultation.

Step 2:

We take measurements (for a new site, a site plan should ideally be provided), assess soil condition, and identify drainage or other factors that will affect the design. (There may be an overlap with Phase 1 depending on the size of the garden/area).

Step 3:

The creative process begins! Taking all the information gathered in steps 1 & 2 into account we conceptualize at least two concepts/layouts  to present to you.

Step 4:

We now work together on developing the chosen concept until we have it right, i.e. a design that you’re happy with!

Step 5:

This is the completion and delivery to you of the final Garden Design Plan. The blueprint to your own unique dream garden!

What do you get?

We work with landscape design software and provide you with:

  • Full colour, detailed or basic layouts, in hard copy and electronic formats.

  • Full plant and hard landscaping lists and quantities.

  • 3D perspectives and garden walk-throughs are also available (optional).

  • A broad estimate budget

What does a Design Plan cost?

The cost of a Design Plan varies and is dependent on the size of the garden, the level of detail required, and therefore the number of hours required. We are able to quote this following the Onsite Consultation or Online Consultation
